The BDH was a small Social Democratic party which was founded in early
2000s. It strongly supported the contemporary peace efforts by the
United Nations. In 2007, it merged with the Communal Liberation Party into the Communal Democracy Party.
The party used a flag derived from that of the European Union, with a white peace dove in center of the
ring of stars, and the party name initials in white. The letters were
arranged either vertically at the fly or horizontally at the
bottom fly corner (photo). The peace dove within the ring of stars was also used as the party logo (image).
